General Terms

Service Description

Kuranda Transfers provides private transportation services for individuals and groups, offering fixed rates, pre-booking options, and a commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction. Kuranda Transfers is a pre-pay service.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with booking a service.

Bookings and Cancellations

Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to confirmation, and customers will receive a confirmation message via SMS and email.

Payment Terms

  • For bookings made more than 28 days in advance, a deposit is required at time of booking, with the full balance due 7 days prior to the booking date.
  • For bookings made within 28 days of the booking date, full payment is required at time of booking unless otherwise arranged.

Cancellation Policy

For Transfer Services:

Kuranda Transfers requires 24 hours notice of cancellations in order to receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between 24 hours and 8 hours will receive an 80% refund. No refunds for no show or within 2 hours of booking time.

For Tour Services:

Kuranda Transfers requires 7 days notice of cancellations in order to receive a 100% refund. Cancellations between 7 days and 24 hours will receive an 80% refund. No refunds for no show or within 24 hours of booking time.

Pricing

Fare Prices

Fares are calculated via our quote engine on our booking form, available here. Enter your pick up and destination and it will offer a fare based on the information provided.

Discounts

Special offers and discounts may be available for local residents and or visitors from time to time, enquire at booking stage via the booking whatsapp link

Payments

Payment Methods

We accept multiple payment methods via Stripe, including:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • Digital Wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
  • Online Payment Links

Payment Timing

  • For bookings made more than 28 days in advance, a deposit is required at time of booking, with the full balance due 7 days prior to the booking date.
  • For bookings made within 28 days of the booking date, full payment is required at time of booking unless otherwise arranged.
  • Customers will receive automatic reminders via SMS and email when payment is due.
  • Failure to pay the balance by the due time may result in service cancellation.

Customer Responsibilities

Accurate Information

  • Customers must provide accurate booking details, including flight information for airport pickups.
  • Any incorrect details may result in additional charges or service disruptions.

Prompt Communication

  • Customers should notify us immediately of any delays, cancellations, or changes to their travel plans.
  • If a driver is waiting for more than 10 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, additional waiting fees may apply.

Liability

Service Interruptions

  • Kuranda Transfers is not responsible for service delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, road closures, traffic conditions, or vehicle breakdowns.
  • In the event of a disruption, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative transport or reschedule your ride.

Personal Belongings

  • Customers are responsible for their personal belongings.
  • Kuranda Transfers is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items during the journey.

Child Safety and Special Requirements

Child Seats

  • Queensland law allows children under 7 to travel without a child seat, but we provide child seats for added safety.
  • Customers must request a child seat or booster seat at the time of booking.
  • A small fee applies to cover seat maintenance and availability.

Special Assistance

If you require additional assistance (e.g., wheelchair-accessible transport), please let us know in advance.
